The Winter Reuge Collections

The Winter Reuge collection takes its name from the Reuge family, who settled in the Swiss mountain town of Sainte-Croix in 1865. The name carries the weight of craft across distance—a reference point for what endures when technique and intention meet. Three colourways. One form. The Winter Reuge is a square baskets hand-coiled from Ndiorokh grass and recycled plastic strips, then fully encased in sheepskin leather — body and lid. The leather is not a finish. It is the construction. Each basket is covered entirely in black, red, or off-white sheepskin leather, finished at a women-operated open-air tannery in Senegal. One piece. Three expressions.
