Ndiorokh Coasters

 

A small object with a single purpose, made with the same intention as everything larger. The Ndiorokh Coaster is hand-coiled coil by coil from Ndiorokh grass and recycled plastic strips on one face, finished with sheepskin leather on the other. Turn it over and the material changes — grass to leather, craft to construction. Both sides are the work.
