Teranga Basket - Winter Blues
|
Teranga is the Wolof word for hospitality — the act of receiving, making space, and holding something with care. It is the first piece in the Tackussanu collection and remains the foundational form. Hand-coiled coil by coil, the Teranga closes with a lid. Two expressions are available: the Peak Lid, which rises to a point with quiet ceremony, and the Flat Lid, which rests — a different presence in a room, the same provenance in both hands. |
